Program Volunteer
At ASA, we're looking for volunteers who want to put their skills toward something meaningful — supporting Afghan students, especially girls who have been banned from education in their own country.
We need help across many areas: content creation, fundraising, graphic design, human resources, communications, social media, web development, and SAT tutoring. This application is for non-teaching roles. Whether you're a student, recent graduate, or working professional, if you care about educational equity and want to contribute in a real way, we'd love to have you.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in college, recently graduated, or a skilled professional with relevant experience.
- Some background or genuine interest in the area you want to work in.
- Clear and professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to commit at least 8 hours per week to your ASA responsibilities.
- Responsible, dependable, and respectful in how you communicate with students and team members.
- Comfortable using relevant tools for your role — Google Docs, Zoom, Canva, Discord, or social media platforms.
- Aligned with ASA's values of equity, inclusion, and student empowerment.

What You Will Gain
- The real experience of contributing to something that changes lives — not just a line on your resume.
- Practical experience in your field working within an international, mission-driven organization.
- Stronger teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
- A formal Certificate of Volunteer Service from Afghan Scholars Academy.
- A flexible, fully remote role you can do from anywhere.
- A place on a team that genuinely believes in education, hope, and equal opportunity.
If you're ready to contribute your skills and be part of something bigger, we'd love to hear from you.
