Afghan Scholars Academy is not yet registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Donations are not currently tax-deductible. We are in the process of establishing our formal financial infrastructure so that every contribution is handled securely and transparently.

2.2 million girls have been banned from school.
Since 2021, the Taliban has shut the doors of education to millions of Afghan girls and women. These are not numbers, they are daughters, sisters, and future doctors, teachers, and leaders whose only crime was wanting to learn.
Afghan Scholars Academy exists to fight back against that silence. We offer free English classes, exam prep, college mentorship, and more, entirely free, entirely online, and built for students who have nowhere else to turn.

Every dollar goes directly toward programs that open doors for Afghan students who have been shut out.
College Mentorship
Covering application fees and providing one-on-one counseling so students can apply to universities abroad — because right now, many of our students have no one to guide them through a process designed for a world they've never had access to.
Language Exams
Sponsoring Duolingo, TOEFL, and IELTS exam fees so students are not stopped by a cost — because right now, a single exam fee can be more than a family earns in a month.
English Classes
Hiring experienced teachers to run free, intensive English courses and providing digital learning resources — because right now, English fluency is the single biggest barrier standing between our students and the global opportunities they deserve.
Technology Access
Providing laptops, tablets, and internet grants so students in remote areas can study without barriers — because right now, many of our students share a single device or rely on unstable connections just to attend class.
Scholarships
Funding partial and full scholarships for Afghan girls to cover tuition and living expenses — because right now, financial cost alone forces many of the brightest students to abandon their education entirely.
Book Club & Resources
Purchasing and shipping books to students in Afghanistan who have almost no access to educational materials — because right now, entire provinces have libraries that were shuttered or destroyed, leaving students to learn from memory.
